From a book at my local library entitled: Protestation Returns 1641/2 Notts/Derbys by W F Webster there were no Glasby’s listed but the nearest I could see to the name was GADSBY and they were listed as from Attenborough, Beeston, Lenton, Trowell, Normanton-on-Soar, Bleasby and Kirklington.
